Konane ("Hawaiian Checkers" has a nice ring to it) is a unique yet underappreciated game from Hawaii.  Players only move by capturing opponents' pieces by jumping over them. The last player to do so wins. This gentle game is not won by attrition; it is won by position. 

How good is this game?
Konane has the most complex gameplay of any game sold by Oak Games, yet the rules are very simple.
It is truly something different.

Construction notes:
The checkerboard look works well because it makes it easy to set up the game.
