The goal of Stepping Stones is to cross a stream by jumping over three stepping stones with one of your pieces. Players take turns moving their pieces until one of the players makes the Final Move. The Final Move involves jumping over three of the opponent's pieces OR jumping over three of the player's own pieces.

Will you manage to find the stones to jump over, or will you fall in the water?

How good is this game?
It has a marvelous combination of simplicity and tactical challenge. The two sides embrace each other and do a little dance in the open area of the board. Neither side dominates the other until the end of the game, so there may be a lot of inconclusive movement.
